No. The lamp is fully solar powered. Place the solar panel where it can receive direct sunlight and use the included hardware if you want a fixed installation.

Will it turn on automatically?

Yes. In auto mode, the built-in light sensor turns the lamp on at dusk and off at dawn.

Can it stay outside in winter?

The IP65 housing is designed for outdoor use in rain, snow, frost and heat. Solar charging and runtime can vary with season and available sunlight.

How do I change the light color?

Use the included remote control to choose warm white (3000K), daylight white (4000K), or cool white (6000K).
